Mapping Ourselves
This assignment allowed me to analyze qualities about my writing and areas that may need improvement. For instance, I found it most challenging to write in the blog style since I had anxieties about keeping it informal enough while still relating it to concepts learned in class. Furthermore, I found it hard to really connect to the audience in this style. I think I could have used more creative writing strategies in order to do this. Another area of improvement is making the different styles more distinguishable. I think that both my blog post and academic article ended up being too similar in their writing styles.
